The Town of Rindge is an SB2 or official ballot referendum town. This means there are two sessions of the annual town meeting:
- Takes place between the first and second Saturdays following the last Monday in January, including those Saturdays (NH RSA 40:13 III). It is typically scheduled for the first Saturday of February at Rindge Memorial School, starting at 9:00 am. Please check the calendar to confirm. During this session, an explanation of the warrant and budget is given by the Board of Selectmen, the Budget Advisory Committee, and Department Heads. Each warrant article is opened to the registered voters in attendance to discuss, debate, and amend as allowed by state law. See NH RSA 40:13 IV. This session is run by the Town Moderator.
- It always takes place on the second Tuesday of March from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm at the Rindge Memorial School. This session is held jointly with the Jaffrey-Rindge School District Voting Session. This is an official ballot session and runs similarly to a state or general election.
