Complete, sign, and return an Absentee Ballot (“AB”) Request Form to/from the Town Clerk’s Office. You can obtain an AB Request form in any of the following ways:
- Download and print the proper form that is linked above
- Call or email the Town Clerk's Office and request one to be mailed
- Pick up a form from the Town Clerk's Office

If you are currently a registered voter in Rindge, check ONLY the first of the two boxes.
If you are NOT currently registered to vote in Rindge, check ONLY the second of the two boxes. Absentee voter registration forms will then be mailed with the absentee ballot.
You can request an absentee ballot up to six months before the election that you are requesting it for.
The deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail is 12:00 pm the day before the election. The deadline to request one in person is at 5:00 pm the day before the election.
Once you have completed and signed the form, it needs to be returned to the Town Clerk's Office either by USPS mail or dropped off in person by you or someone you know at the Town Clerk's Office. Please remember to enclose one of the three proofs of identity listed on the request form.
Yes! If we have not yet cast your Absentee Ballot on the day of the election, then you can vote in person. Absentee Ballots are typically cast starting at about 1:00 pm the day of the election. Once your absentee ballot is cast, you will not be allowed to vote in person at the polls.
If you never mailed or dropped off your absentee ballot, then you can vote in person at the polls, as your vote will not be cast otherwise.
