2026 Warrant and Budget

FIRST SESSION:  The First (Deliberative) Session of the Annual Town Meeting is to be held at the Rindge Memorial Elementary School, 58 School Street, Rindge, NH, on Saturday, the 31st day of January 2026 at 9:00 a.m. The First Deliberative Session will consist of explanation, discussion, and debate of articles and will afford those voters who are present the opportunity to propose, debate, and adopt amendments to each warrant article, except the election of officers and warrant articles whose wording is prescribed by state law.

SECOND SESSION:  The Second (Voting) Session of the Annual Town Meeting on Tuesday, the 10th day of March 2026, at the Rindge Memorial Elementary School, 58 School Street, Rindge NH between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. to vote by official ballot to elect Town officers, to vote by official ballot on warrant articles as they may have been amended at the First Session and to vote on those other official ballot questions whose wording is prescribed by state law.


The 2026 Warrant outlines all articles that will be deliberated and voted on. The articles included are the open positions for elected officials for the Town of Rindge, a Zoning Article, the 2026 Operating Budget, Capital Reserve and Expendable Trust Fund articles for specific departments and purposes, proposed changes to current operations, adoption of RSAs, and two petition warrant articles. 
2026 Warrant

The MS-636 is comprised of four parts - appropriations, special warrant articles, revenues, and a budget summary. For the appropriations (aka the budget) section, three columns compare the actual dollar amount spent in the previous year, the previous year's budget, and the proposed budget for this year. For the revenues section, three columns compare the actual dollar amount received last year, last year's estimated revenues, and this year's estimated revenues.

The default budget document includes three columns that show last year's adopted budget, the reductions or increases made, and this year's default budget.
